Parent conference nights are exhausting! Going on 13 hours at school today and I had to quick make a new post before going home :) Between the non-stop talking, display of student work, and data reporting...I've also been trying to upload lessons onto teachers pay teachers to no avail! UGH! So frustrating! I couldn't get the thumbnails to post correctly (tried to convert to pdf's and everything) Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
This is one simple project I always have displayed during parent conference time. However, it's been around forever (lacking in the originality department today), but parents enjoy it nonetheless. Bio Poems- yes, I'm sure you've all done them. It's just an easy way for the kids to represent themselves in such a short timeframe- a great beginning of the year introduction for all. Plus, the bonus is that this project can pretty much be done independently by each kiddo. Gotta love beginning of the year independence!
Soon to follow...the Bio Poetry prompts, templates, and student work forms will be put on teachers pay teachers for a freebie!
Do I seriously have to teach in the morning? Peace-out!
UPDATE: Here is the link to download this project for free-
