Every classroom must have hand-shakes to show that all are welcome, hugs to show how much you care, and hi-fives for high student achievement!

School Spirit- Green & Gold!
Big news for B-town!...Vice-President Biden spoke at our middle school today.  It was quite the hype here in Beloit.  Traffic was at a halt, and unfortunately there was also a share of protester's on-hand, which I think is terrible...seeing as it was outside of a school of young impressionable children!  My first grader came home today to ask why all of the people were yelling this morning.  That is what should be remembered?  Or should it be remembered that the Vice-President of this country came to speak to our local people?  I'm not claiming any political party whatsoever!  I'm simply looking at it from the standpoint of pure respect, and respect for the youth of our community.
Nonetheless, it was an exicting day in B-town.  We ended the week with our last day of spirit week, sponsored by our student council.

Crazy Hair Day!

There is nothing opposite about this...identical twins!  Head to toe!
We stopped state testing on Halloween (for good reason) and had spirit week for the remainder of the week...Wednesday was crazy hair day.  Thursday was opposite day.  Friday was our school color day (Packer colors) green and gold!
